To clarify the budget -- the potential attendee Shaun mentions is a tools
person from Red Hat content services to work with the Docs community folks
on tooling (including hackfest on Sunday, assuming things go well). This
probably adds $2.2K to the budget. A bunch of us are traveling in cheap
to make room for the two international fares, as well as contribution of
e.g. dinner from outside the Fedora FAD budget. So the total cost here is
probably close to $4.8K. If this is too high to approve, we can try to
seek some other sort of cost split. But again, we need feedback ASAP to
do that. Much appreciated, Council folks!
