It should be relatively automated.

How many devices in /dev/rtc* sometimes I've seen there's two RTCs on
devices, the one of the SoC which isn't battery backed, and then an
addon one which is, if there's two and the SoC one is rtc0 it often
uses that as the canonical source and it causes issues.
