I do not see this. I tried two appraoches
(1) Leave the drop-down terminal open and switch workspace (either by
rolling mouse wheel or keyboard shortcut).
The drop-down follows me.
(2) I exited the drop-down terminal and re-opened in a new workspace.
Followed me to the new workspace.
Since I have a multi-monitor setup, I did an additional check. I
activated "Move to monitor with pointer". Drop-down terminal does follow
the mouse pointer to different monitor(s).
As far as I can tell, there does not seem to be an option to enforce
what you are observing ...
Any inkling on what could have caused this? Can you reproduce this on a
different system perhaps?
