[fedora-arm] Re: Fedora 32 on RPI4

Hi Andreas

I use fedora32 on my raspberry 4 and it works fine with the latest kernel.

Note that I only managed to get the Minimal build to boot. See the former threads on the boot getting stuck in dracut for workstation images. I just used Minimal and then installed all the things from Workstation from dnf. It boots fine and the 4GB model I use even runs gnome-shell surprisingly smoothly.

Hello together,

I've Fedora 32 (beta) updated from Rawhide. The only kernel that boots
correct is: 5.6.0-0.rc2.git0.1.fc32.aarch64

every newer kernel didn't find the root (/) UUID. Even the actual kernel

[root@fedora-raspi4 ~]# lsblk -f

└─sda1      ext4   1.0 a8c60ba4-ec9d-4636-b5a1-64b54c48235f    9,5G
28% /home
├─mmcblk1p1 vfat   FAT32 51BA-42E4
566,8M     5% /boot/efi
├─mmcblk1p2 ext4   1.0 4d93649c-d4f6-412a-b81a-ba4c61dabfb3  795,2M
12% /boot

[root@fedora-raspi4 ~]#

Are there any tips and tricks to boot with more up2date kernel?
