Hi,

1. Install Cockpit from packages

https://cockpit-project.org/running.html

2. Change the language of Cockpit users in the user management. You can now
guess what can be right/wrong with the current translation generally.

3. There is no easy way to view your _current_ translations, but you can try
to obtain Cockpit sources:

https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit

then replace PO file in them and recompile. When recompiled, replace language
PHP and JS files in your installation with the new ones and test.
