Quoting Mark Reynolds:
"First our mdm(lmdb) implementation is very new and has not gone through
any QE testing yet. So it's experimental at this stage. It is also only
available in 389-ds-base-2.1 (or newer). "mdm" is not available in
1.3.x or 1.4.x."
There is no mdm in the version you have. It isn't a problem of a missing
configuration command.
