I don't see /alt/stage in globalvar.py's paths. Should I add the link exactly like the beta or use:
https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/28/....

Where will the final iso be located and should I use curr id etc for the link variables so that it will be ready when you change for release or use the next id so link will work like beta?

If I am correct it should be:
${global_variables.path['download']}/${global_variables.release['curr_id']}/AtomicWorkstation/x86_64/iso/Fedora-AtomicWorkstation-ostree-x86_64-${global_variables.release['curr_id']}-${global_variables.release['RC_gold']}.iso
